Hm Kelli gave birth during this episode so I wonder how much she will actually be in it?
I can't really add it up either cause at a #AskSVUwriters session we were told there might be hospital scenes in ep9 which I read as we might see Amanda go in to labor in that ep. During that session we were also told Kelli might just miss 2 episodes. So ep8 and ? Maybe they will just shoehorn in a hospital scene in ep9? Time will tell.

As for SVU taking on the Duggars I dunno. S17 has been rather good so far so I'll keep an open mind. I just wish they could do an original story once in a while. Season is still young though but the two to come aren't original either so I think it's about time they pull one out after that.

I'm looking forward to this episode. I had a feeling ever since the Duggar scandal broke out that SVU might do an episode based on it. I find the air date kind of ironic because that is also the birthday of Jessa Duggar, one of Josh Duggar's sisters and victims.

Petra, I hope that the writers are right and Kelli is just gone for 2 episodes as well. I think if that's the case it will be episodes 8 and 9. I didn't read too much into Kevin mentioning that there was going to be a hospital scene in episode 9. I don't think there is going to be a scene where Amanda goes into labor because Kelli had her baby earlier than expected and it probably threw off their schedule. Since Kelli missed the last couple of days of filming for this episode I'm guessing they will make it that Amanda started mandatory leave and that's why she's not there. She will still be on leave and will have her baby off-screen during those episodes she'll be missing (I'm guessing eps 8 and 9). She won't come back until her leave is over, which I think is episode 10, which will most likely air in the new year. This plan could work out if they don't air anything pass episode 9 before winter hiatus in December. It depends on how soon Kelli can get back to filming, which shouldn't be a problem because her husband has posted pictures of her out and about. They are currently filming or about to be finish filming episode 8, so for the plan I laid to work Kelli needs to be back filming early next month, which again shouldn't be a problem.

Again, I probably put too much thought into this. I tend to overthink everything :P Like you said only time will tell.

@Ana Andrade - I guess it was inevitable for SVU to touch on the Duggars, a story that writes itself but with the famous SVU twist I'm sure. That is ironic tho that they air it on Jessa's b-day, I've read some article that said the sisters felt like media bringing it up was more damaging than the assault itself so I think it's a safe bet that the TV won't be tuned in on NBC during that b-day party :/
I really, really hope you're right and that we'll see Kelli back in ep10. With the way MH kept groping her tummy in all those pics I'm pretty sure it's a baby friendly set if she wants to bring ltl Ludo *lol* I think I would prefer not to see her give birth though, THAT would make me squeamish
They seemed to have edited that WL/Andy Karl interview so it contains a lot more info now, some interesting things about KG and her role in ep7 so it seems she'll have a rather important role in that ep after all. She gave birth just 4 days after being on the set according to WL. You could still be right about AR's mandatory leave tho, and that she won't be in the entire episode. Can't wait to find out. Don't want to miss her for too many episodes. Being without DP is already painful enough, I'm still in denial and pretending he's visiting with his kids or something. I both overthink and imaginary think *lol*
